This Position is for a FULLTIME DERMATOLOGY OFFICE MANAGER and a PARTTIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT in the South West part of Las Vegas, NV. Also a PARTTIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT in Pahrump, NV.
Office Management Duties:
Managing opening and closing scheduling of office, managing heavy email volume, client consultation on cosmetic procedures offered at office, light accounts receivable, composing letters and memos, preparing "Superbills" for client insurance reimbursements, verifying insurance, work with state Fund and Workers Comp, maintaining skincare inventory, which includes, maintaining physical inventory in a neat and orderly fashion and also updating inventory on computer. Marketing to promote and bring new clientele to office and also proficient in sales. We carry our own skincare line. Sometimes may need to travel to Pahrump and Mesquite so needs to have transportation in GOOD condition.
FRONT OFFICE JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reception duties: answering phones, confirming appointments, taking messages, greeting clients, filing, organizing and maintaining patient files, making copies, preparing medical records, faxing, ordering office supplies, (as needed) and maintaining a clean reception and supply room areas and completing various assignments from the business owner.
BACK OFFICE DESCRIPTION:
Logging Biopsy's and updating biopsy book, patient notification of results, assisting the doctor in procedures such as excisions and surgeries, performing procedures on patients like injections chemical peel, micro dermabrasions, laser hair removal, tattoo removal etc. Maintaining back paperwork, cleaning instruments stocking lab.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be 100% reliable, punctual, honest, and have excellent attendance.
-Be a quick learner and a team player.
-Minimum 3 year Medical Office experience (a MUST).
-Must be able to multitask (a MUST!); must be a detail oriented independent worker.
-Advanced knowledge of a PC including Microsoft Word and Excel.
-Must have clear, effective communication skills.
-Have excellent organizational, planning and financial skills.
-Have good judgment and a personality that is positive and service oriented.
-Experience and/or knowledge of insurance billing/procedures.
-Must have professional appearance (be dressed in a professional business manner).
-Be able to handle confidential matters with grace and maturity.
-Must have knowledge of E-clinical Works, Electronic Medical Records Program as we are in the process of transitioning to this system.
